THOUSAND TIMES RELEASES TRACK WITH GRAMMY WINNER 808 RAY

Westleaf Staff

Less than a month after releasing his EP 'Better Late Than Never' with Futuristic, Lex Bratcher & Suspence; music producer Thousand Times has uploaded a new collaboration with superproducer 808-Ray. From JAY-Z and Beyonce to Nas and Lil Wayne, 808-Ray has been involved in producing some of the biggest records in the past 5 years. A legend in the rap game, 808-Ray has been scorching up the production scene with a series of bangers from your favorite artists such as DJ Khaled, Curren$y, Fat Joe, Jim Jones, Remy Ma, Kent Jones, Pusha T, Jadakiss, Royce Da 5'9, J Cole and many more.

Originally from Virginia, Ray was scouted and recruited to Cool & Dre’s record label, Epidemic Music, in 2015 after many years of sending beats to their late-night “Beat Talk” live streams (formerly “Beat Talk Tuesday”). This led to multiple placements and Ray getting his foot in the door. He lived in a music studio in Florida for 3 years and made the “713” beat on the roof of the music studio which led to a Grammy award for Best Urban Contemporary Album of 2018.

808-Ray was given “808-Ray Day” in his name by the mayor of Roanoke City in 2021 and dedicated the time to giving back to the city by starting a beat camp and helping the next generation of beatmakers get into the music industry.

In addition to a hot track, the collaboration between Thousand Times and 808-Ray has launched a remix contest open to DJ's and producers worldwide.
