Checkout the interview below!

Westleaf Staff: What's up C? When did you start making music?

C-Sharp:I started making music about 10 years ago. I didn't start taking it serious until 3 years

ago. I didn't find my pocket my sound my confidence till about 1 year ago as far as

music goes!

Westleaf Staff: Real! Salute to you. So how did your early life shape your interest in music?

C-Sharp: My early life I was looking for guidance and was trying to find my way around the world . Rappers such as Ice Cube ,Tupac, Biggie ect helped sculpt myself in becoming a man and more socially aware. Now music is apart of my everyday life.

Westleaf Staff: That's dope. What city do you represent?

C-Sharp: I represent Tustin /Downtown Santa Ana! Orange county the real orange county to be exact!

Westleaf Staff: Shoutout to OC! Y'all have some talent. So how did you create your stage name?

C-Sharp: My name is Clarence Sharp or C-Sharp. My new alias Yowdergod is just a higher version of myself. Pure uncut raw no holds bar version of C-Sharp.

Westleaf Staff: Ha! That's cool. So who is your biggest Musical influence?

C-Sharp: My biggest musical influence I would have to say my father and my mother. My father who passed in 2016 was a former drummer as a young man in Kansas. Who always had his drum kits around when I was a little kid. My mother who is Filipino always was doing karaoke in the living room. So I got familiar to the Whitney Houstons and Lionel richies and Michael Jackson. My First rap album was like ready to die and Missy Elliot album that had "can't stop the rain" .

Westleaf Staff: That's dope! Family is key. Shoutout to your pops and those are legends! What's been the defining moment in your music career thus far?

C-Sharp: A big defining moment is when I figured out I had to make sure my music was mixed and mastered to sound proper to go against people you hear on your everyday radio. Nobody wants to listen to your music if the frequencies are matching up to the sounds that they're accustomed to.

Westleaf Staff: That's real bro! So what does art mean to you?

C-Sharp: Art to me is no boundaries. Sky is the limit. The world is my canvas and my words are my paint brush.

Westleaf Staff: Dope! Where do you see your music career going over the next few years?

C-Sharp: I see myself building a buzz big enough to where I'm having placements in movies videos games etc.

Westleaf Staff: You can do it. So what makes you a unique artist?

C-Sharp: I believe what makes a unique artist is their vulnerability and them not being scared to be themselves good , bad , and the ugly and able to express it in a way that people aren't accustom too.

Westleaf Staff: That's super insightful. Before we go, describe music in three words.

C-Sharp: Attitude is everything!
