His style is wavy and upbeat. We can easily see him performing on the stages of festivals like Rolling Loud or Coachella. Leezy's music definitely makes crowds jump for sure and we can't wait to see him achieve even more success. But enough from us, we caught up with the Caii MC to discuss his life and musical origins. Check out the interview below.

Westleaf Staff: What's up, Leezy? Your vibe is dope. When did you start making music?

Leezy: I started making music seriously about 5 years ago.

Westleaf Staff: Nice. What city do you represent?

Leezy: I represent California. I was born in Los Angeles, CA but I currently live in Modesto, CA so I represent both cities.

Westleaf Staff: Dope! Shout out to Cali! So how did you create your stage name?

Leezy: I started off as "H-Leezy" and as I got older I jus became "Leezy".

Westleaf Staff: Nice. I love that name. Earlier you said you started making music five years ago. How did your early life shape your interest in music?

Leezy: I grew up listening to music that my parents would show me and saw music videos that my older sister would show me. That lead me to eventually making music and my own music videos.

Westleaf Staff: Wow. You're super talented. Making your own music and videos is amazing. Salute to you! So who is your biggest Musical influence?

Leezy: Michael Jackson, Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, E-40 and Drake.

Westleaf Staff: Nice. They are all legends! Next question! What's been the defining moment in your music career thus far?

Leezy: Performing in front of a crowd with thousands of people and seeing the fans sing the lyrics was a defining moment in my career as a music artist.

Westleaf Staff: Dope. I'm glad you could experience that.

So what makes you a unique artist?

Leezy: My flow on the beats, versatility, standout quality, and creating art more than a normal music artist. I'm an artist when it comes to creating music.

Westleaf Staff: Nice to see that you care about the art aspect of music. That mentality is going to take you far! So what does art mean to you?

Leezy: Art is expression. You can find art everywhere.

Westleaf Staff: Facts. I love that definition! Where do you see your music career going over the next few years?

Leezy: I see my music career going upward with a hit single on the Billboard charts.

Westleaf Staff: I can see that happening for you. Before we go, describe music in three words.

Leezy: Freedom. Expression. Passion.
