With Raw's cadence and delivery ,he's placed himself in position to become one of Hip Hop's next super stars. But enough from us, check out our interview with Raw below!

Westleaf Staff: What's up Raw? Your sound is dope. When did you start making music?

Power Circle Raw: I recorded my first song on a cassette tape when I was like 7-8 yrs old..

Westleaf Staff: Dope. You started super early. What city do you represent?

Power Circle Raw: I was born in Wilmington, NC and raised in Kinston, NC but I represent the CAROLINAS.

Westleaf Staff: Dope. Rep your town! So how did you create your stage name?

Power Circle Raw: I always been kinda blunt. I don’t sugar coat nothing. I'ma give it to you raw and uncut same with my music straight raw talent. Niggas in high school used to call me C Raw so when I started takin' da music serious I became Young Raw. As I got older I dropped the Young and started goin by Power Circle Raw. Power Circle is my brand, label, etc that I’m pushing!

Westleaf Staff: Dope! How did your early life shape your interest in music?

Power Circle Raw: I'm a 90s baby so I came up in a time when rap was literally taking over the world. Being from the south, I came up on Cash Money but I rock wit the up top wave, too. Dipset, 50 cent, The Lox, Ruff Ryders.

Westleaf Staff: Ha! Cash Money takin' over for the 99 and the 2000! Nice. So who is your biggest Musical influence?

Power Circle Raw: Lil Wayne

Westleaf Staff: Real. Wayne influenced an entire generation. What has been the defining moment in your music career?

Power Circle Raw: When I had my first label meeting with Social Currency's CEO KING CARTER (da baby and toosii’s manager).

Westleaf Staff: Dope! Congrats on that meeting. That's major! So what makes you a unique artist?

Power Circle Raw: What you see is what you get. I don’t fake like I’m too street or a killer. If I wanna make a song about love that’s what I do. If I wanna make a song about the streets that’s what I do. I’m versatile, I can do the auto tune mumble rap flow, and I can really spit. There's substance behind my lyrics when you listen to my songs. You can’t box me in.

Westleaf Staff: What does art mean to you?

Power Circle Raw: Art is expression. That’s why I love music no one can tell you what’s wrong or right, or good or bad. Because it’s your art and everyone’s opinion is never gonna be the same.

Westleaf Staff: Facts! Where do you see your music career going over the next few years?

Power Circle Raw: Goin UP! Ain’t nowhere else to go but up. I plan on building my social media presence and gettin' on bigger platforms. More paid features and shows and dropping my first studio album.

Westleaf Staff: Respect. It's already happening! Describe music in three words.

Power Circle Raw: Music is motivation, inspiration, and LIFE!
