What's up Leafers? Welcome to the latest edition of On the Rise where we interview upcoming hip hop talent.Today's guest is Xtendosworld straight outta Louisiana. Xtendo's sound is futuristic and gritty. We can definitely see Xtendo creating a cult fanbase similar to Uzi or Carti. His energy is also exceptional and finely tuned for concert stages. The Wichita artist is making moves in his hometown so we had to tap in with him. Checkout the interview below!


Westleaf Staff: What's up, Xtendo? When did you start making music?


Xtendosworld: 2017.


Westleaf Staff: That's fire! So how did your early life shape your interest in music?


Xtendosworld: Growing up my parents would often play a multitude of different genres of music from the 80s though the early 2000s.


Westleaf Staff: That's dope. Shoutout to your parents for playing those jams. What city do you represent?


Xtendoworld: Wichita Falls, Texas.


Westleaf Staff: Wichita. The "factory" city. So how did you create your stage name?


Xtendosworld: I created Xtendosworld while traveling when it came to me one night “xtendos

” because I extend my verses and generally have a-lot to say and the “world” because I can do whatever I want in my world.


Westleaf Staff: I love that. It's your world bro! So who is your biggest Musical influence?


Xtendosworld: Future but mainly XXX when I was younger


Westleaf Staff: Dope! Shoutout to those legends! What's been the defining moment in your music career thus far?


Xtendosworld: Having people be inspired by my craft.

Westleaf Staff: That's real bro! So what does art mean to you?


Xtendosworld: A means of expressing myself.


Westleaf Staff: Dope! Where do you see your music career going over the next few years?


Xtendosworld: Global to the point where individuals from different walks of life know my artistry

Xtendosworld: My sound and my overall work ethic.
