Westleaf Staff: What's up Big Homie? We love your sound. When did you start making music?
Big Homie Fresh: I started singing at 12 and I became a producer around the age of 16.
Westleaf Staff: How did your early life shape your interest in music?
Big Homie Fresh: My dad played a lot of Hip Hop and Jazz music in the house. West coast music was the soundtrack to my life as a kid. Those sounds hit different.
Westleaf Staff: Who is your biggest musical influence?
Big Homie Fresh: Dr. Dre is my biggest influence in life. His production is immaculate and he is the reason why I am a producer today.
Westleaf Staff: What has been the defining moment in your music career?
Big Homie Fresh: Seeing my album displayed in Times Square in New York. I was shocked to see I'm getting love on the east coast. I'm thankful to God that I accomplished a goal on my bucket list.
Westleaf Staff: What makes you a unique artist?
Big Homie Fresh: Developing a west coast sound in the south and not following what's already trending.
Westleaf Staff: What does art mean to you?
Big Homie Fresh: In my opinion, it's a form of expression! Hip-Hop is what. you live. Rap is what you do. The art/music that I create is my reality and what I actually go through and live.
Westleaf Staff: Describe music in three words.
Big Homie Fresh: Amazing, fun, and powerful.
