Westleaf Staff: What's up Comatose? Thanks for joining us. When did you start making music?

Comatose Red Ivy: I started making music on October 16, 2020 at 5:43am.

Westleaf Staff: What city do you represent?

Comatose Red Ivy: Queen City, Fif 1 Third. . . Cincinnati!

Westleaf Staff: How did your early life shape your interest in music?

Comatose Red Ivy: I was born and raised on a multitude of different types of music, from Elvis to Eminem and Sex Pistols, to Lil Wayne, or or, even Beethoven to Taylor Swift and everything in between.

Westleaf Staff: Who is your biggest Musical influence?

Comatose Red Ivy: My biggest musical influence is Mac Miller and Kurt Cobain.

Westleaf Staff: Nice! We love Kurt! What has been the defining moment in your music career?

Comatose Red Ivy: Being able to go to Kurt Cobain's house and record an album, "Seattle Unplugged".

Westleaf Staff: Dope! That had to be a crazy experience. What makes you a unique artist?

Comatose Red Ivy: I'm a Dead Living Transgender Zombie Bytch.

Westleaf Staff: Real. You're doing it well! So what does art mean to you?

Comatose Red Ivy: Art means each individual's perception and interpretation of each individual piece of art in the world. We can all perceive the same piece in different ways and it's all okay.

Westleaf Staff: Where do you see your music career going over the next few years?

Comatose Red Ivy: I'm getting better since I started 18 months ago, been going harder lately, from 'Clean Date', everything through my newest release 'Fentanyl 2', just learning the ropes of being an artist. One Day at a time as everything being recorded is on my Macbook Pro while I'm in rehab; sober and clean for almost 6 months. #Sobriety

Westleaf Staff: Congrats on sobriety! How did you create your stage name?

Comatose Red Ivy: Comatose is the ghost that taught me how to rap when I woke up from being poisoned. 'Red' is the color of the world I went to when I died and is also the color of my strength, then 'Ivy' rhymes with everything homie, like it just did G, see, it's me Comatose Red Ivy.

Westleaf Staff : Ha. It does rhyme with everything! Okay, one last request before you go. Describe music in three words.

Comatose Red Ivy: Comatose Red Ivy
